1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the Galdr service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The service
Galdr ApS provides a cloud-based video conferencing and collaboration platform ("Service") accessible via galdr.eu and associated applications. The Service is provided from datacenters in the European Union.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service with reasonable notice, except where required by urgent security or legal circumstances.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at security@galdr.eu if you suspect unauthorised access.
One person may not maintain multiple free accounts. Accounts may not be transferred to another person without our written consent.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
- Transmit unlawful, harmful, abusive, or defamatory content
- Distribute malware or conduct phishing or other fraudulent activities
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system or network
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Resell or sublicense the Service without written permission
- Use automated means to scrape or extract data from the Service
Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.
5. Your content
You retain full ownership of any content you transmit through the Service (video, audio, chat messages, recordings). By using the Service, you grant Galdr a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your content solely to provide the Service to you.
You represent that you have all rights necessary to transmit your content through the Service and that doing so does not violate the rights of any third party.
We do not access, view, or use your content except as necessary to provide technical support, to comply with legal obligations, or as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Plans & billing
Free plan: Available at no charge subject to fair use. We reserve the right to impose reasonable limits on free accounts.
Pro plan: Billed monthly or annually as selected. All prices are in EUR and exclusive of any applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Refunds: If you cancel within 14 days of a new subscription or renewal and have not used the paid features, you may request a full refund. After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion.
Price changes: We will give at least 30 days' notice of price increases, which will take effect at your next renewal.
7. Service availability
We target 99.9% monthly uptime for paid plans. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance. Current uptime status is published at galdr.eu/status.
The Service is provided "as is". While we work hard to keep it reliable, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.
8. Intellectual property
The Galdr name, logo, and all Service software are the exclusive property of Galdr ApS and are protected by EU and international intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or other brand features.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Galdr ApS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Danish or EU law.
10. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time via your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, following notice where legally required.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by Danish law. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Copenhagen City Court (Københavns Byret), unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.
For consumers in the EU, you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
